How to create an elegant event...

You have to start with a vision and work your way back. When creating this event (see picture below), I had a vision in my head but hadn't figured out how to fully execute. When describing my ideas to other, they could not see the vision and thought it would not work. I started with the larger items and slowly worked my way into filling in the gaps. This event took a lot of vendors to make it work but in the end, it created a magical space.

Don't let others make you think your ideas are not great. This event was a year of planning but when it was all said and done, this event is still talked about to this day. Many have tried to recreate it but none have been successful so far.
